Modification of service fees for guests

Have you noticed a change in the amount of your service fees and are wondering why? Don't worry, here is a clear explanation of what has changed and what it means for your bookings.

What has changed

We have recently changed the way we calculate our service fees. Previously, the amount of the fees was much higher on the first instalment, and then significantly lower on subsequent instalments.

Following feedback from many users, we have updated this system. Service fees are now spread equally across all instalments of your booking. The total amount remains the same: only the distribution over time has changed.

Why this change

Many users found the first instalment to be too high compared to the following ones. By spreading the fees equally, we are making each instalment more legible and more predictable, so you know exactly what to expect throughout your rental.

For long-term bookings

For bookings that span several months, this spread amount might seem significant. This is normal: the fees are simply present on each instalment rather than concentrated at the beginning.

If you wish, you can remove your service fees entirely by subscribing to a Premium Pass. Once active, the Premium Pass removes all service fees from your bookings.
