My tenant paid their rent after the due date: when will I be paid?

Rent payment for rentals over 45 days

In the case of a rental over 45 days, your tenant has up to the due date to pay their rent online.

If this date is missed, they can still pay their rent from the payment schedule on Roomlala.

The difference is simple: they will no longer receive automatic reminders for this payment, but will continue to receive rent calls and reminders for subsequent due dates.

When will you be paid? đź’¸

  • If the tenant pays within 48 hours following the due date, the transfer is made 26 hours after the due date.
  • If payment is made more than 48 hours after the due date, you receive the transfer upon receipt of payment.

Track the transfer status

A confirmation email is sent to you as soon as Roomlala makes the transfer.

You can track its progress from your personal area, under “Profile” then “Transactions”.

đź’ˇ If you own several properties with due dates on the same day, you will receive one transfer per property.

Conditions for receiving your transfer

Before any payment, ensure that the following details are completed:

  • Your bank details in your Roomlala profile (under “Bank details”).
  • Your verified identity online.
  • Your complete tax information.

Transfer processing time

As soon as Roomlala makes the transfer, it appears immediately on your bank account.

Roomlala transfers are instant transfers 🙂

In rare cases (weekend, public holidays, or bank closure), the transfer may appear the next day or the day after.

Important to know

Roomlala provides a secure payment system allowing the tenant to pay their rent online and the host to receive the transfer as soon as the payment is validated.

⚠️ Roomlala cannot be held responsible for unpaid rent, unless the rent guarantee was activated when your listing was created and the tenant met the required conditions.
