How do I provide my bank details?

To ensure Roomlala can transfer your rental income, you must provide your bank details. Don't worry, the process only takes a few minutes and your data is secure.
Access your bank details
Log in to your account, then head to the Bank details section of your profile. You will find all your saved bank account details here and can add new ones.
Add bank details
On the Bank details page, click on the "Add bank details" button. A form will appear: simply enter your bank details and click on "Save".
The information required varies depending on your bank's country. In general, you will need to provide:
- The first and last name of the account holder (or company name)
- Your bank's address
- Your IBAN
- Your BIC / SWIFT code
- A name for these bank details (optional, useful for distinguishing them if you have several)
Be sure to double-check the details before confirming: a single typo in the IBAN or BIC can block the transfer of your rental income.
Status of your bank details
Once saved, each bank account entry displays a status:
- Validated: your bank details have been verified and can be used to receive your payments.
- Needs correction: information is missing or incorrect. Click on "Edit bank details" to correct the error.
Only validated bank details can be used to receive payments from your tenants.
Set default bank details
If you have several bank accounts saved, one of them is automatically set as your default. This is the one that will be used for all listings to which you have not assigned specific bank details.
To change your default bank details, click on the "Set as default" button on the entry of your choice, then confirm.
Assign bank details to a listing
If you manage several listings, you can choose different bank details for each one. This is useful, for example, when your properties belong to different owners or if you wish to separate financial flows by property.
Assignment is done directly from the Bank details page:
- Go to Bank details.
- Scroll down to the "My listings" section.
- Opposite each listing, open the drop-down menu and select the bank details to use.
- The selection is saved automatically.
If you wish to revert to your main bank details for a listing, simply select "Use my default bank details".
Only bank details with the status "Validated" appear in the drop-down menu. If the bank details you want to use are not showing, check their status in your list of saved bank details first.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your bank details are transmitted in encrypted form and kept perfectly secure. They are never shared with your tenants: they pay via the Roomlala platform, and we then transfer the sums owed to you into the bank account associated with each listing.
