Service fees and Premium Pass

Wondering what service fees are and what the Premium Pass changes? Don't panic: here is everything you need to know, with no nasty surprises.

What are service fees?

Service fees are charged when you make a booking online on Roomlala. They fund the platform and the guarantees associated with your booking: secure payment, refunds in the event of cancellation, and insurance.

They apply on both sides:

• For the tenant: 12% of the booking amount, with a minimum of €8.
• For the host: 3% of the amount paid to them, with a minimum of €3.

This rate is the same regardless of the length of the rental, whether short or long-term. For long-term rentals paid in several instalments, the fees are simply split across each instalment. The exact amount is always displayed before you confirm.

What is the Premium Pass?

The Premium Pass is a subscription that unlocks contact detail sharing and reduces your service fees. Without a Pass, a standard member can only communicate via Roomlala messaging; with the Pass, you can communicate freely by email, by phone, and you can arrange a viewing or a meeting.

What the Premium Pass gives you

• The ability to share contact details before booking.
• €0 service fees on your bookings.
• Priority customer service.
• Boosted visibility: up to 10 times more inquiries.

The Premium Pass and your service fees

With the Premium Pass, your service fees are removed entirely, whether you are a tenant or a host. You no longer pay service fees on your bookings for the entire duration of your Pass.

Standard or Premium: the difference

• Standard member: communication only via Roomlala messaging, and service fees applied to bookings.
• Premium member: contact detail sharing unlocked, service fees removed, boosted visibility, and priority support.

Pass duration and price

The Premium Pass is valid for 12 months. The price depends on your country; it is clearly displayed on the subscription page.

How to subscribe

Go to your personal space, in the Premium Pass section. Choose the duration that suits you, then follow the instructions for payment. If you have a promotional code, you can apply it directly on this page.
