When booking, you will see a service fee appear. Don't worry: here is what it is for and how it is calculated for you as a tenant.

What are the service fees used for?

The service fees cover your online booking on Roomlala. They fund the platform and the guarantees associated with your booking:

• Secure payment of your rent
• Refunds in the event of cancellation, according to the applicable terms
• Insurance adapted to the rental

How much do they cost?

As a tenant, the service fees represent 12% of the booking amount, with a minimum of £8. This rate is the same regardless of the length of the rental, whether it is short or long-term. For a long-term rental paid in several instalments, the fees are simply split across each payment.

The exact amount is always displayed before you confirm: you know precisely what you are paying, with no nasty surprises.

How can I avoid paying service fees?

With the Premium Pass, your service fees are removed entirely: you can book without paying any service fees. The Pass is a subscription valid for 12 months, which you can sign up for from your personal space in the Premium Pass section.
