Why and how to enter my tax information in my personal area?

Updated on 20/01/2026

Am I affected by this regulation?

The EU Council Directive 2021/514 ("DAC7") requires Roomlala to collect and transmit certain tax information. This concerns hosts who receive income via the platform.

The DAC7 directive applies if you:

  • are a tax resident of an EU Member State,
  • or rent accommodation located within the European Union.

In this case, it is mandatory to provide your tax information in your personal Roomlala account. Without this, you will not be able to rent out your rooms on the site.

How to provide my tax information on Roomlala?

To complete your tax information, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your personal Roomlala account.
  • Go to the "Host Area" tab, then click on the Taxation section
  • Fill in all the required fields in the form.
  • Click on "Save".

💸 Roomlala has a legal obligation to collect this information and transmit it to the competent tax authorities.

If your tax information is not provided, the payment of your rent will be temporarily blocked until the situation is regularised.
